Anne Frank: The Diary Of A Young Girl

While reading Anne Frank's diary, Ive finished the book (including the afterword) where Anne and the rest were captured by the Nazis and been taken to concentration camps, separately. Anne Frank, Margot, and Anne's Mother were forced to go to the Bergen-Belson concentration camp at Lohheide, Germany. Where Anne, Margot, and Anne's mother died. Anne died on March 1945, just two weeks when the Holocaust ended. Margot died on March 9, 1945. Edith died on January 6, 1945. Otto Frank survived and published Anne's diary on 1947.

Anne Frank a sweet young 13 year old girl. Who stands up for herself and makes her dreams come true. She doesn't want to be a kid anymore. She want to be a famous writer or a famous actor. To do that she must be a grown up woman. She wants a boyfriend and have her very first kiss.

Anne Frank: The Diary Of A Young Girl

So far in the Anne Frank's diary,  Anne was bored of staying at the secret hiding place. She wanted to get out and travel the world. She wanted to go to Hollywood and become an famous actor.  But, to do all that she'll have to live and wait till Hitler is gone for good.

The plot is basically a young teenaged girl who lived several months in an small attic with her family and another family of three, with a man named Fritz. All because they were all jews and Hitler making himself more powerful than ever. Anne and everyone else had to stay there and keep quiet to not be seen or captured or else they'll be killed.

Anne Franks: The Diary Of A Young Girl

So far on Anne Frank's diary, Anne and her family had to say goodbye to everyone who they cared the most. They faked going to another country from suspicion. Instead, lived at an working office just upstairs from the attic. Anne and her family will stay there quietly for many months or many years till the war is over. Later then, the Van Dann (family of three) joined in. After that, Fritz Pfeffer kicked in and suddenly it got crowded and had to plan out where to sleep.

While reading it's obvious that the genre is non-fiction. It's non-fiction because it shows real life events. The building that the Franks and the Dan Vann used to hide is there for a tour. The diary shows the time and date. The holocaust actually happened in real life too.

Anne Frank: The Diary Of A Young Girl

A caring young 14 year girl named Ann Frank who hid from Nazis in Amsterdam, Germany. She hid in an attic for several months that her father, Otto Frank use to work at. He got permission from his boss because everyone trusted and cared for him. His job was to discover new spices to sell. Anne Frank started her book two days after her birthday which was on June 12, 1942. She was stuck with the Van Daan family too, Peter Van Daan branged his cat with him and Ann was upset that she was forced to leave her cat behind. Fritz Pfeffer who later on joins the family alone. Later on, Anne learned that Fritz works at a dentist and was really strict being a jew. Her favorite place to be at was the very top level of the attic, she liked to look out the window to stay out of stress.Everyday she knew that she was going to die but, she knew that she is being stronger every single minute. All of this was Hitlers fault because of his anti-Jewish laws, he became little stronger everyday.

While reading I would spot the Again and Again signpost. Anne would always be talking about how she wants to be a real woman. She would ask her sister Margot when she got her period and how it feels. Anne would even ask her best friend Jacqueline Van Maarsen, how do breasts feels and has she ever kissed a boy. She hates when her family or the Van Daan Family would tell her "your to young" or "your just a child". Eventually, she finally gets her period and tells only her sister, "I'm now a real women". The best part yet, She kisses Peter Van Daan mouth to mouth at their secret attic where they hangout most of the time together! Now, She has become a really real women!

Holocaust

When learning about the bystander and up stander. Lets define what bystander and up-stander means first. A bystander is someone who is at the action or at an event and just watches the main event. A  up-stander is someone who gets up and takes action to the event. Lets get back to the topic, the reason why the jews were bystander and did not stand up and make thing right was because they knew they were going to die and have their life a waste. Who were people who couldn't resist and became an up stander? The U.S people because they didn't want Hitler to rule the world and Hitler is killing millions of human beings that should be and always be free. Some jews were up-stander and helping their family's instead. Jerzy Kosinski a important up-stander who helped hundreds or more of jews to survive the holocaust. At first, he was a wealthy man with women and power. He was friends with the Nazis. Until one day, he saw a glimpse of the city he lived in, He would spend all his money buying jews and keeping them safe but making them work(from suspicion), he even bought another building. I myself would help the jews survive. I would build an underground safe place that has plenty of food and drinks for hundreds of jews. Once the Holocaust is over I will release the jews and burn down the underground safe place from suspicion.

Sweatshops

The argument in the article is that people should never buy Nike products. The people behind Nike are people who make the products. The people who make the shirts, shoes, and socks don't make much money as the people who have regular jobs. The issue is the conditions, have a 5 minute break, money issue, food supply, paying apartment rent, and etc. The worst parts about working is the time period, 18 hours a day and it’s not following the human/ workers rights!

The argument in the poem is the working conditions in a sweatshop in first person view. The thoughts and feeling of this person. Like she/he forgets everything but her/his working tasks. An example in the poem, “ I have no feeling, no thoughts, no understanding.” The article and the poem are different by the point of view. The poem is first person because it says, “I” ,  “me” and etc. It felt like you were there working in a sweatshop. I feel sad about learning this but, it made me more interested to read more about this topic.

Is It Time For Cursive To Die? (My Thoughts)

I think its time for cursive to die. Why? Because schools don't use cursive for anything. My 3rd grade teacher fought us cursive. She said, " You have to write cursive every year," When I graduated, 4th grade never ever written cursive, not even above other grades. Today, 8th grade never wrote cursive. Well, when your older you have to write your name in cursive on paper you need to fill out.  Cursive is hard to read,  in the elder ages everyone used cursive writing. The Declaration of Independence is written in cursive too! Do you think cursive should be hidden in a bottle?

Call Of Duty

The article, "Call Of Duty" wast really sad and inspirational. Sharing a amazing story all over the world. The article was about a military Marine soldier Jose, who moved every year to a new home and school. He was sick of the past and signed up to be a military soldier. He met a german shepherd that can sniff out bombs because those bombs haven't been set off for years, so nobody or anything can set off the bombs. Jose and his best friend dog have been together so long they made a powerful bond. One day when they were finding more bombs, everything happened so fast that a bomb set off and Jose lost both of his legs were broken.  Jose was forced to go back home and leave the military. He didn't even say goodbye to his best pal.  His best pal got imported and assigned to a different military and handler. Jose was so heartbroken he wanted his best pal no matter what. His wish came true. This article made be really sad, it changed my mood so many times. I even learned something new about the military. The military used shaving cream to trace their steps so no one can set off a bomb.
